Shadow Line Press is an new, independent publisher specializing in trade
paperback fiction for mystery, suspense, thrillers, horror, and Westerns. The company also publishes non-fiction that relates to those genres, including true crime and writing guides.
We are not a vanity or subsidy press; we do not charge for editing, cover design, publishing, or any other service that we provide. We simply endeavor to publish well-written, quality books that our authors and readers can be proud of.
Founded in 2009, Shadow Line Press prides itself on taking chances on projects
that don’t necessarily fit into neat categories within the various
genres. Our goal is to work
tirelessly to discover and promote new talent, as well as to provide an outlet for previously published authors who have been forsaken or neglected by their original publishing houses.
Shadow Line Press titles are available wherever books are sold—the large chains such as Barnes & Noble, Borders, Waldenbooks, and Books-A-Million; the smaller, local independent book stores that are the backbones of the industry, even the huge retail stores such as Wal-Mart, K-Mart, and Target. And, of course, our books are available through Amazon.com. As a new publisher, we are still working to develop even more distribution outlets for our titles.
