INCIDENT AT CAT ISLAND
by
THOMAS HUDGIN

Tom Hannaford finds mysterious lettering on a barnacle-encrusted plank floating in the surf along a deserted North Carolina beach. With insatiable curiosity, and after some questionable research, Tom convinces his friend Chris to fly with him on a leisurely vacation to the Bahamas, where, coincidentally, Tom suspects his message from the sea originated.

As they land and investigate remote Cat Island, and with the help of a lovable 13-year-old boy, they stumble upon a shocking discovery that sends them running for their lives, using all of their skills and cunning just to survive.

This fast-paced intrigue, skillfully woven by experienced pilot, sailor, explorer, and retired Naval Commander Thom Hudgin, will captivate readers both young and old alike.

"Rarely do authors who include flying sequences in their novels get it right. In Incident At Cat Island, Tom Hudgin has filled his mystery/suspense novel with enough aviation details to keep any pilot happy." - Tom Berenson, Flying magazine.

THE ANDROS CONNECTION

by

Thomas L. Hudgin

When Jason Shannon hears a Mayday call while sleeping on board the Southwind, a sailboat docked on the Cape Fear River, he leaps to his feet and responds to Maisy, an island girl in the Bahamas who lost her family at sea during a storm. Obsessed to find her, he recruits two of his friends, Lori and Jeff, to sail to Andros Island 900 miles away and search for the possible girl of his dreams. But just before departure, Jeff and Lori discover a body floating in the river that came from the Coral Sun Ray, a freighter docked nearby which nearly derails their plans.

While waiting on the dock for the mail boat to arrive in Coakley Town, Andros, the three anxiously try to guess which passenger standing on the rail is Maisy. A beautiful, young girl waives from the deck in mid-harbor. Then they know. But the following day, they stumble upon the Coral Sun Ray in the same harbor and they dare to investigate. Their lives suddenly turn upside down when they are kidnapped by the crew who are involved in an international crime scheme, and they are taken to South America where they face nearly impossible odds to survive.

As time wore on, Jennifer was traumatized by a rape and Justin was sent to prison . . . for attacking the very man accused of raping her. Now, at the age of 34 Jacob is running for mayor of their hometown of Springwood, Ohio amidst support and persecution. As Justin is released from prison unexpectedly, Jennifer has also been picked up by a publisher, to have her first novel released. What follows Scott's warning is many unresolved issues from the past, coming back to haunt not just Jacob, but his brother and sister as well. When Jen's best friend Becky Robinson spots a man from Jen's past it leads her to confront Jacob with a shocking confession. Unfortunately it is not in time to prevent horrid secrets from being spilled out on Jacob's hacked campaign site . . . all from Tammy, Jen's other personality. INTRACOASTAL

by

RONALD FARRINGTON SHARP

Oscar Leopold thought he had successfully retired from practicing law to run his art gallery in the old section of West Palm Beach. His only problems were paying the rent and managing his on-and-off affair with his bizarre gallery assistant Sydni—currently off. That was until Oscar’s former partner Roy called from the county jail, having been arrested for murder. The victim was Roy’s boss, Big Jack Gamble, a sleazy television advertising personal injury attorney whose body had been discovered in the burned out wreckage of his boat.

Oscar reluctantly takes the case and uncovers a multi-million dollar insurance fraud and kickback scheme that implicates Roy and Big Jack, as well as several prominent legal defense firms. The proof that could free Roy, yet seal the case against the others, is on a computer flash disk recovered from Big Jack's personal files. Unfortunately, the disk is in the wrong hands.

The investigation becomes more problematic when Oscar is himself successively kidnapped, threatened, assaulted, and arrested. Too many people have too much to lose and no one is giving up easily
